How do I rent a storage unit?

All rentals are done on-site at our 24/7 self-service kiosk. Visit the kiosk anytime to select your unit and complete your rental agreement, no appointment necessary. The kiosk accepts cash and debit/credit cards for payment. When your rental agreement is complete, you will get a unique gate code and access to the facility.

If you know you need a storage unit ahead of time, you can reserve a unit online for free. Choose a unit size and select your move-in date to reserve your unit. When you’re ready to move in, visit the self-service kiosk and enter the last name or phone number you used to make the reservation to complete your rental agreement and access the facility.

When is rent due?

Rent is due on the 1st of every month. For payments received after the 5th, a late fee is applied.

We offer automatic payment for debit/credit cards, or you can pay online or on-site at the 24/7 kiosk.

Sorry, we do not accept checks.

Do I need insurance for my items while they are in storage?

You are required to have insurance coverage for your items stored at Hawk Self Storage. We offer insurance coverage at the on-site kiosk that can be bundled with your monthly rent payment. Some insurance companies offer self-storage insurance too, so check with your insurance agent to learn more.

I don’t need my storage unit anymore. What do I need to do to end my rental agreement?

Per your rental agreement, you are required to give 10 days’ notice before vacating your unit. After giving notice, move out your belongings, sweep the floor, and leave the unit as you found it.

We will perform a move-out inspection and move you out in our system. A cleaning fee is charged for any items left behind.
